Latest Update

So where have I been? Nowhere to be truthful, just been a little lax in keeping tabs on the blog. Physiotherapy wise, there is nothing new on the horizon, except a lovely little job with MUFC Academy - possibly the wrong time in my career? Still working for NHS as Clinical Specialist in Hips/knees, & starting to write some presentation on Patello-femoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) for the junior physiotherapists. This is a condition that is highly prevelent, & generally poorly managed?! Watch this space. Cycling wise, I've had a few health issue - Hospitalised with chest pain, only to discoverI had 'Atypical' Chest Pain, secondary to a Myeloproliferative Disorder!! WTF?? Platelets 3 - 4 x higher that they should be. Bone Marrow biopsy, 1 week later confirmed. Well at least not terminal, but will need to be on Chemo lifelong?! Cycling took a back seat, so not doing as much, or as often. Still, got a couple of rides coming up. Did the Thames Bridges Bike Ride 2014 last week for the Stroke Association. 8th of June have the usual Dragon Ride in Wales (on my own again)! Early July, the day before the Tour de France comes to Cambridge, there is a closed road event in Saffron Walden. That should be fun? I'll do that with my future Brother-in-law Paul, & brother Mark. My local friends are doing LEJOG 12th June for Percy's Pals. Iv'e not been allowed to go. Cost & Time off work!! I wish them luck & fun :-) Not much else to say, except that I should try to update more often? Keep on rolling 'The Old Bill'
